ReTrain to Retain will support 50,000 sport and physical activity professionals and volunteers who currently work, or want to work, in sport and physical activity.
If you're working in an area of economic deprivation, or supporting under-represented groups, then ReTrain to Retain is ideal for you. The scheme is also ideal for self-employed people and small businesses.
All participants will receive free support from CIMSPA
Sports coaches can access free training and resources from UK Coaching
Group exercise instructors can access free webinars, and certificates from EMD UK.

ReTrain to Retain has been designed to support everyone working or volunteering in sport and physical activity in England. You can access a host of free resources here. If you work with socially diverse communities, disabled people, or people with long-term health conditions you will be prioritised for additional support.

From free access to learning resources from CIMSPA, UK Coaching and EMD (UK) through to helping you with the costs of getting your business back on track.

How do I access ReTrain resources?
Extra resources are available to some groups
Applicants from specific job roles (assistant sports coach, sports coach, or group exercise, fitness, yoga or pilates instructor) will be able to access additional benefits from EMD UK or UK Coaching.
Selected individuals will have 100% of their qualification and CPD course costs covered.
